Re: Why sanitize a tanning bed?

Well, ok, I guess I'll weigh in as well. Lambert, (or should I call you Mr. John? - but I digress! hehe Just a little joke that probably nobody but me is laughing about) ignore the slings and arrows, and just ask the questions. Some idiot once said to me, "The dumbest question ever asked, was the one where I ...", I forget the rest of what he said now; I think I got distracted by something shiny at that point. The point is, you should always ask your question here - you always get some sincere answers mixed in with the slams.

To answer your question: Leprosy. Leprosy is the reason that tanning beds must always be thoroughly sanitized after each and very tanner has thouroughly used the tanning device. It's also a law in most states, parishes, prefectures, municipalities, townships, counties, and burroughs; just to name a few. The third reason is that it gives you a chance to step out from behind the counter and good a really good look at what the butts of your customers' look like without clothes on. Of course, you will always have those "modest" few that don't leave their butt print on the acryllic (but even this gives you an accurate image of them in their selected panty style).

Ok, seriously. Tanning equipment is clasified as a, what is it, Class 3 medical device? Given that it is classified as such, its care and use falls under the watchful eye of the local Health and Human Services Dept. which mandates that all such medically classified devices will be sanitized and utilized in conformance with scientifically established protocols. That's the long way of saying, "Just do it or we'll shut your *** down!" hehe.

I mean, seriously, the scientific and medical experts have already told us we can't "catch" anything serious from a tiolet seat, right? And everybody knows, (at least some Americans do) that bacteria cannot exist and replicate in a highly lit, dry, environment - like a tanning bed. They prefer a dark, moist, warm environment to do their business; like your crotch, throat, ears, nose/sinuses, urethra, and rectumus, etc. hehe

Uh, hope this helped. Good luck out there. -Belvy
