Maybe you can do a free tanning weekend - bring your mom/daughter/sister/friend and both of you tan free on that Saturday or Sunday - depending on when you are open. Have coffee/tea and cookies/brownies (kinda like an open house). Give them thank you cards and invite them to refer and friend and get another free tan.
