I'm probably not the best person to ask what I sell lotion for. I got into the business with tanning (only) as being my main source or revenue. I added lotion as an alternate source of revenue along with bathing suits, jewelry and some misc. items. I don't compare my prices to other salons in the area for tanning or lotion. The only thing I care about with neighboring salons is that we have the longest hours. I will win that game because I would be willing to go 24hrs. with staff. I have no idea what they charge. I do however have exclusive rights to sell
MR International Products in my area so it doesn't bother someone locally if my price point is lower then theirs in this type of situation. I have them priced at $69. I do have a higher price point for other MR. Products. I find in our market the $30 to $69 lotions sell the most so I price them accordingly.
