Makes no difference. 105w is just marketing hype. The lamp is 100w. The ballast is 100 watts and it will only put out 100 watts no matter what lamp is in there. The ballast determines the wattage. It doesn't work like screw in light bulbs.

Check the connections at the lampholder too. It may have come loose when you changed the lamps. Could be the ballast, lampholder, starter, lamp, or other connection. The lamp won't blow the ballast. They owe you nothing.
