I always tell them to start with what they are comfortable with. My larger clients will start with shorts and a tank top. They love the tan so much that they continue coming and wear less and less. The larger ladies typically go no further than a bathing suit which is perfectly fine with me!
The key is to make them feel comfortable. If they are uncomfortable, they will not be a repeat customer.
You also have a very cute picture posted. To many of these women, this is very intimidating. You appear to be "Perfect" and that's kind of hard to expose yourself if you fell inferior. Try to keep this in mind depending on your client.
