Thats the point, there is all this blame without proof.
Logic says that damage to the skin would cause cancer. Whether it be a chemical burn or a severe sun burn. If you damage cells in a way that damages the RNA/DNA then it would seem this is where it stems from.
As pointed out a million times, moderation and responsibility are key.
But those "bad apples" that get cancer had those bad doctors who want to blame UV light when the cause was probably an early childhood burn or tanners who try to "burn the tan in" at the beach.
Maybe I am just venting!
