Help!!! I had a bad download of the 11.6.1 patch and I now have many problems with Helios.
I folowed the instructions with the 11.6.1 update, shut down Helios, back up, install patch and had "CRC Errors" with the patch installer.
After the failed patch ran Helios was D.O.A., the Helios11.exe was corrupted.
I have uninstalled Helios 11.4 and reinstalled it and keep getting a hardware key error and Helios will only run in demo mode message. I installed the 11.6.1 patch and got more problems! The T-Max timer won't detect, error messages, I have not tried to move or import my data yet.
I have 2 salons and tried the dongle from the other salon and have the same problem, the dongle seems good. The new patch worked fine on the other pc.
I do not know what to do next, I suspect my transact.mdb file has been corrupted or deleted after the update. I cannot run Helios at all.
How do I import my database files back into Helios after a severe crash? (short of throwing the whole thing out of the window!)
The pc is a Win 2000 SP/4 which is supported for ver 11.5.1.
Some one has to have a 11.6.1 update horror story, lucky us!
