So let me get this right. Lets say your a small (like MOST) salon who happens to have to internet access (as engfant mentioned) and you no longer pay support because is costs too much and you dont get anything out of it, you know, trying to control cost in a crashing industry.

So how are you suppose to know about this? Will Helios call EVERY salon before doomsday?

In my opinion purposely crippling mission critical software, especially when it as legally obtained, will open Helios up for a HUGE lawsuit. That is unless this d-day event was written in the license. I am sure it is, right?

Can you imagine opening up only to find your computers down and since you and a hundreds of other salons are calling tech-support, you have no way to fix it much less download a patch! Screw the pop-up, letters should have been sent out long ago.

By the way, the download link said to download and wait for a rep to call...... I AM STILL WAITING for a rep to call before I install. If I dont get a call, I will not install PER INSTRUCTIONS and will be calling support expecting a SWIFT solution! :)
