Lamps Flickering
I have searched through all the threads I could find on this subject and none seem to fit my exact symptom. I have a used sunquest pro28 ( I know very old bed). Ok here is whats happening, 90% of time everything works like its suppossed to, but about 10% of the time it makes a crackling sound that pulses about once every second and the lamps flicker with the pulsing of the crackling. If we turn the bed off and immediatly back on it usually corrects itself, sometimes it takes off/on 2 or 3 times to get it to run correctly. We have a remote hardwire timer installed, just a home-depot manual timer. The bed has done this we got it about 3 months ago, I recently replaced all the lamps hoping this would correct it...it did not. I failed to replace the starters when I re-lamped, I have them just haven't gotten them in yet. I am thinkning possibly the starters (will replace them this weekend), buck booster (which I have a spare to try), Ballast? or Capacitor? Call the repairman?
Timer on the bed? I haven't figured out how to bypass/disconnect the on-bed timer so we have to turn the bed timer on, then the remote timer can control it. Anybody wanna take a stab at it? Any and all help is very much apprciated.
