I agree on not hiring family, its different when you are brought up in the company though. Its another thing to hire family "because they need a job". I get that A LOT!

Anyway. Show her the list and explain to her what needs to be done.

We had guys working but they just didn't work out, for some reason ladies just don't feel comfortable with a guy around...

That may be true in many smaller towns, but I now employee an all male staff and its been working well. But that may be more of an age thing, the staff is young (21 to 27) and very personable. I also find the guys actually do everything and more than needed or asked. The girls I have had rarely perform duties and often have their mom call them in sick! lol

Anyway, as I have often said there are those who do their job and those who PERFORM their job, I am looking for performers.
