Circular motions are good, but it depends on what you are spraying.

We have two air-brushes on our system. We start with the BIG gun and do a quick shot across the face, nothing much really but gets a base down. Then we do their chest, stomach and inside of arms. From there we move onto their back and back of the legs. Then they turn and we do the front of their legs. We do not spray the feet. Not that they are turned around we have them hold up their arms and do the under-arms and sides of torso. We then finish off the arms and repeat. When finished we large capacity gun, we move onto the face with the artisan brush and paint their face, very lightly, and detail the ears and hair-line. We spend a good amount of time on the face. We also find people dont squint with the smaller brush spraying the face, that means no crows-feet.

But like I said, everyone does it different. Its the outcome that matters. Try doing two or even three coats. Remember, they will likely get DARKER as the solution works. So dont get them too dark!

Also - when you are moving the gun, dont stop on the body. Brush right off the body into air before stopping and turning back.

CAPS ARE NOT ALWAYS BAD! You obviously don't need readiing glasses yet....your day will come. hehe

I do fine with just one coat. I do 2 very light coats on the face only.
