up to a month sometimes more. They'll start getting itchy/irritated/red when it's being treated. Then you'll notice that the patches will start flaking off and if you are a tanner it'll leave a untanned spot where it flaked off. This means it's "gone" but just like everything, do not stop when you think it's all gone. A full month on the "pills" (never heard of em just the dandruff shampoo but as long as the active ingredient is ketoconazole then it's all good) and then once a week or everyother week to keep it away.

After a while it'll just be gone unless you live in an area that's always warm.
