Re: LOTIONS SALES new manager
I'm a relatively new manager myself and have gotten some great advice from the people on here! You may want to consider a few things:
*set monthly and/or weekly sales goals specific to products for your employees (keep in mind how busy you are and how much of your total sales needs to be lotion, as well as how many hours each person works per week/month)
*make sure they try the lotions AS WELL AS read up on all the info about every lotion you carry
*consider incentives/bonuses
*let them know that they are expected to sell lotion as a main part of their job, they are not just there to check people in and clean beds! if someone is consistently not selling or not reaching goals, try a probationary action such as no free tanning for the next month (if you offer that to employees), etc. And let them know if you implement something like this, so they will be motivated and know ahead of time what they risk if they don't perform up to par.
Hopefully helpful! I'm trying some of these things myself!
