That's how mine are, base beds 6.5% UVB - 32 100 watt lamps.
My 160's are 2.8% UVB - 55 160 watt lamps.
So... if you do the math, don't they actually get a larger dose of UVB in the 160's?
6.5% of 100 watts is 6.5 x 32 lamps = 208
2.8% of 160 watts is 4.48 x 55 lamps = 246.4
Doesn't that mean a higher amount of UVB per session?
I suck at math, so tell me if I'm wrong. But, I've been putting people with psoriasis in the bed with the 160's.
