i only have my clients exfolliate day of with baking soda on a cotton washcloth. Never had a problem. The baking soda neutralizes skins natural ph/alkaline balance. Green can be a number of reasons (leftover perfumes, deoderants, high diet in fruits and veges) , but always goes away.
