Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max
last year I had a customer use a drugstore bronzer and it got on the white part of the bed. it was only there long enough for the person to tan 15 minutes. when I went in to clean the bed, the spot would not come off, not even with straight bleach on a towel. I confronted the customer the next day and showed her the spot and told her that I would let it go this time, but to not use that stuff anymore on my beds or I would have to charge her for the part to be replaced. I also told her that the quality of bronzer she was using was nothing but paint and probably blocked most of the UV she was trying to get by laying in the bed in the first place. anyhoo. I use that spot on the bed whenever someone comes in with that crap. I show it to them, ask them if they want to put something like that on their skin and also (depends) give them a sample of something to try. I hate the spot on the bed because it is white and I am anal about keeping it clean, but the spot seems to have been very beneficial in deterring store bought bronzers. I am still looking for the one common ingredient in all that crap to use against them, but have not found it yet. so as for the cheap accelerators, I am still struggling, but definitely have the bronzers for the most took care of.
