I think that is wrong. Did you get a demo of tan track before you purchused? How much did you pay for the software? Is it worth the arguement? If so then i would call them back ask to speck to the superviser and inform them that you were mislead to believe that it would work for you and if they don't refund then you will go to the BBB and report them. Most companies don't want that. If they say so Tell them you will contact an attorney and sue them for the amt of the software plus the amt that you have "lost" per say due to the fact that the software doesn't work as the rep from the company said it would. They are still liable for that employee even though she got fired. Depending what state you are in and what state they are in....
Futhermore, the company should give you a refund aslong as they recieve the software back and it is just the ethical thing to do. If you purchused it on a CC or bank then contact them and see what they can do from their side. Alot of the times the bank will reverse the charge and report the company as fruadulant.
