Here is what I do know. All DHA's are not make the same. You can get junk from China or you can get premium stuff, somewhere. My solution produces a brown, (not red), bronze color, REGUARDLESS of the client. Some clients can naturally take more solution because of their natural color. I do all clients twice over and acording to how I eyeball their original color is how much they get sprayed. If they are more fair, they still come out brown. If they are darker, they come out browner. I go light on my ladies that want light, I go dark on my ladies who love more color. No complaints, either way. I really dont know. I have MY ideas why a company would want to sell you 5 jugs of solution but thats my theory. I just know that to ME, 1% difference in solution is not going to be enough for me to buy another gallon when what works for me is all a 10%. I do have booster drops and I do add them sometimes, however, I never take away, and have never needed to.
