NEW YORK, June 22, 2007—ACI Capital, a New York-based private equity investment firm, announced today that it had completed the acquisition of Hollywood Tanning Systems, Inc. (“Hollywood Tans” or the “Company”). The Company’s founders will retain a significant equity stake in the Company going forward. Terms of the transaction, which was structured as an asset purchase, were not disclosed.

Hollywood Tans is one of the largest operators and franchisors of indoor tanning salons in the U.S. with approximately 350 locations nationwide. Each Hollywood Tans salon offers a range of UV and UV-free (spray) tanning services as well as a proprietary line of pre- and post-tanning lotions. The Company also designs and manufactures the tanning booths, signage, and furniture for its salons.

Ralph Venuto, Sr., the founder of Hollywood Tans, commented, “My family and I are very excited to bring on ACI Capital as a partner to help grow this business.
