Re: Tanses

Hmmmm, I could swear a couple years back I use to hear Mori saying it did come with the Hereaus 23/160 lamp. Or I could be losing it, that was a while ago. Could be even the 23/160 could not hang at 7 minutes after the first 20 hrs.

Tooooooo HIIIIIIIgh UVB to be considered a true VHR bed for me. With this type of unit salons will sell unlimited tanning and customers will tan 3 times a week on it because the color will fade quicker.

ANY unit can give you color people. The key to VHR and HP tanning is a BROWNER color that lasts longer.

I would like to see this unit with the LSHP or the Phillips Swift HP and a 10-11 minute session. Now we are talking some TANNING(BROWNING).

7 minutes is just for marketing. We want to TAN (BROWN) people.

KouKou, If I owned this unit I would change it to a 10-11 minute session with the above lamps. You could even go the LSHP in the bench and the stronger Phillips Swift HP lamp in the canopy. Sell it as a browner color that lasts longer and is gentler on the skin. Then raise the price on this unit and customers will flock. The unit will meter in the hundred range with GENTLER UVB and more browning.

The fact that you have to do a top/drop of lamps tells me that at about 200Hrs it is not strong enough for a 7 minute session. This is because the UVB is too high and the session time is too short. I would guess this is the reason for the top/drop to keep the unit in the 7 minute TE range. I would get away from a 7 minute session if possible ON ANY UNIT. Tanning is one place where shorter is not always better.

Just my 2 cents.
