Is that because they don't give results you are looking for?
Granted all beds will tan, some are much more effective than others. Better design, proper cooling & proper power will give way better results.

I remember when I first bought the meters from Steve, I measured the bed which at the time had cosmolux VHR's (the original lamp the bed came with) and with new lamps (cosmo's)I was getting mid 70's on the 5.0 and a TE of 9.6minutes.

So there you have it, the OEM configuration of the unit can't reach 4/meds in 7 minutes. Unless you used a pis-sed off high UVB lamp. That is almost 30% longer than the Max time.
I'm thinking a Magic Sun 23/160R would be a perfect fit for this unit. Nice amount of UVA, with about 3.9% UVB, should rock in at about 7 minutes in this sardine packed unit.
