Here is a recap from this webcast. I could use a little help understanding it but from what I gathered is decreased Vitamin D levels are linked to shorter telomeres. Shorter telmores are related to the aging process and smoking is related to the aging process. Smokers are known to have shorter telmores lenghts and possibly the vitamin d will help.
It says further studies are needed of course but once again this sounds positive overall.
