Re: Soltron Beds??

Wide spread indeed. I have been in contact with many nationwide whom have had this problem with Soltron acrylics. The company has replaced some of the bad acrylics, but as expected will drag it's feet. A good distributor is utmost important. I have Soltron equipment (9 beds), and all nine acrylics were replaced 10 months ago. They are in need of replacement again, but I don't expect I will get them replaced again under warrantee. I know of another salon owner in my state, that has exactly the same situation. He bought 13 soltron beds and soon after had to replace all 13 acrylics. He is now also waiting for a response from Soltron on when he could expect an answer on replacement again. As far as I know, Soltron has done nothing to fix the underlying reason why these acrylics always crack. The reason is that there is no support under the acrylic and you just have a big piece of plastic supporting the entire weight of a tanner. Of course, it is straining the plastic and causing spiderwebbing (cracked ice effect), internal to the acrylic. Other than the acrylic problem ( a big one), I am basiclly happy with the equipment. Would I buy them again? NOT!!
