Re: Could I get an experienced mgr for $40k a year?

If you pay a large salary you will eventually have a bad employee that is not working enough hours. It is my belief that you must pay a manager an hourly wage with a required minimum number of hours worked. You must also pay commission and I also recommend an override commission on the other employees sales. This will motivate performance. Sales Plato's should also be part of the equation. Never leave a manager completely unsupervised, it is important to evaluate performance.

You must also have an employee manual that determines all duties of each employee including managers. There is a formula for evaluating sales performance of all employees including managers.
