Re: Itchy Bumpy Skin
You do realize there are many changes up to 18months s/p pregancy. Lots of horomonal changes during and after that can effect the body. Is it possible that you shave your legs with a product such as shaving cream or gel in that particular area? Do you dry shave?
Are using any products with mineral oil or petroleum in the ingred. line?
Also what is your tanning regimen. I know you say you go only 10 min. but what is the watt of the bed. Maybe you are overexposing those areas for the time you are tanning?
What is your skin type?
Are you taking anti-histamines or Antibotics or does your personal body products have an spf or perfume? This can cause irritation on the body if exposed to UV light and the sweating in the tanning bed can irritation to certain body parts that lying directly on the acrylics?
How many sessions in a roll are you going before you see this irritation? Or is it immediate?
Sometimes we have to remember when you have medical situations and do not expose your skin to UV light in a long period of time, you have to really go slow starting out and you cannot always go back to the regimen you had prior to the medical situation...
Your body is telling you something..Really watch your exposure and products/synthetics you might be using on your skin...especially while your tanning..
STAY AWAY from Harsh BAR soaps while tanning also..such as antibacterial bar soaps during tanning-very drying and makes for some itchy and irritated skin...
Have you moved locations where your home maybe lacking moisture in the air..causing dry areas?
Just a few questions and suggestions to investigate...
Sometimes if all questions and suggestions are tried...it is just because your body says NO for tanning at this time and maybe try again later...
