Great country. Knowing the language is hardly necessary, but a nice gesture on your part. It is not the easiest one to pick up.
Make sure to travel around the other Nordic countries as well. My train ride from Oslo to Bergen Norway still ranks among the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. The boat ride to Helsinki is an experience as well! Lots of beautiful people and countryside throughout Scandanavia. |
