I I have some questions that i need help with 1st I'll give you the run down.

I own my own bed it is a Sunvision PRO 24 SF that came with Diamond Sun lamps. The bed is about 10 years old and I have never replaced the lamps they have 316.74 hours on them so I was told to wait till 1000 hours. It seems I have got to a certain color and can not get any darker so I went to a local salon and bought some samples of lotions to try and break my platue, the owner of this salon told me that since I had had my bed for so long even though it only had about 300 hours on my lamps that they are expired and I need new lamps. He said he would sell me some of his used lmaps with 500 hours on them fro about 150.00 for 24. My question is can the lamps EXPIRE??? Why would I trade 300 hour lamps for 500 hour lamps???? Is he trying to make a sell???? My lmaps look like they have a number like 08671-T12-100W 12 95 D on them does the 12 95 mean December of 1995?? How would I know what kind of lamps to replace my bed with if I bought some online. Any reccomendations, cost dont matter I want good lamps for dark results. Also I know I need to clean the bed because it has never been took apart so that may help. I just dont know how to do it have lost the book on it......it it hard to do? I know I have alot of stupid questions for all you salon owners but I do need the help....THANKS!!!!
