I have found that when I owned salons, lotion sales would account for 15% to 20% of my total sales. If I did $1000.00 that day $225 of it was lotion and my cost on that would have been $100.00 giving me a $125 profit on lotions. May not sound like much but that translated into monthly lotion sales of $5600, not bad considering the people just had to be told that they should never tan with out a professional indoor tanning product. $$$$$
