Lamps are rated in perfect conditions, correct voltage, correct temperature etc and are not rated inside of a tanning unit. Lamps will depreciate the most in the first 100 hours of operation and then more of a steady decline from that point on. Most lamps aren't created equal and will very in lamp life and operation. It also depends on the equipment you put them in and the voltage, temp that is applied to them. Some last longer than others but again it depends on the lamp the equipment that they are running in.
