Re: tanning beds

The difficulty of course is people are comparing apples to oranges and all putting their own biases/priorities on their decisions.

For example -- "best", no matter WHAT price? Or best "value"?

Best at tanning or best at getting customers to want to pay big $$ to try it because it looks so cool??

Best to repair and maintain?

Best at being a really comfortable bed?

Best at holding up -- still running and looking as good 10 years down the road as it does when you first get it?

Best USED -- or best with what they are producing today? (some companies get better - and worse).

Best after-market support and tech help?

Best "line-up" if you want to do a complete salon with one manufacturer?

And so on....

It would be nice to be able to boil it all down to a poll like this, but your better bet is to read the boards as well as try them yourself at local salons. As you decide what "best" is most important to you, you'll determine which line of equipment is going to be your best fit.

Good luck!
