Angelrose84 has dug up an older post from SDJ to ask about electric.

Angelrose -- it will depend HUGELY on the area you are in and what equipment you are using!

For example - in TX you may pay for a LOT more airconditioning than someone does in N.Dakota.

And a High Pressure bed is going to take a lot more than a base bed --- assuming it is running.

Certain parts of the country have MUCH higher electric rates than others. I just saw something on the travel channel that said Lake Placid NY has some of the lowest in the nation because they have their own plant (?) -- who knew??

It isn't outrageous to expect electric bills to EASILY be over $1000/month -- and sometimes 3-4x that amount in the busy season in a warmer climate with a well established clientele (e.g. a "busy" busy season!).

Estimate HIGH -- you can always spend less!
