Because the Derms are in charge of the Asylum. They make the rules and have the money to back them up. End of story! Now there are some credible Universities that have released scientific authentically researched studies (not 145 beach goers) which have contradicted what the Derms have been brainwashing people with for years! That, coupled with the fact that they are heavily invested in "Big Pharma" which has also backlashed with a recent "class action Sunscreen lawsuit" We as an industry are unorganized and there is no body that is made up of only salon owners to represent only salon owners interests!
