So we'll be doing the floors ourselves - we're adventurous!! We know a flooring guy and he said we could definitely do ourselves. I searched the web and there are some sites that will provide good instructions. I think when it's all said and done, it will only cost about $500 to stain the floors.

BODYGLOW! my hubby is a flooring guy and believe you me you can do this yourself! it will be fun and almost impossible to screw up! have fun! (chemstain is a great product with reasonable prices) just roll it on - no biggie
lucky for you-you are starting with new cement - we had to pull up carpet and chemically remove the carpet glue - and sand off the excess! NASTY MESSY
you will have a much easier time of it - no prep
