Re: How can you have a 20 min. 160W

I'm surprised that this unit could of passed with these exposure times with 160 watt lamps in it. For instance there are like a few units with 160,140's on top and 100's on the bottom. The Kern 42-4 is that way and its a 11 min exposure max. In Germany it's 10min. I've never agreed with that set up in the first place. I've been asked the queston (why do the put 160's on the top and 100's on the bottom) the only half way decent answer is could come up with was that the lamps on the canopy are further away from your body when you are tanning. Still I think this in the wrong way to engineer a bed.... just my thoughts
