I don't understand why you would want to open so close to another salon. I know this is business but would you want someone to do that to you? I think we are all trying to make money at this so who benefits from price wars? Ok, so they have 5 locations....does that mean that screwing them is excused because they have been successful? This is just my opinion. I just know how unstable the tanning business is as far as having to fight all of the bad press, etc. so I just don't like it when we hurt each other. Why flood the market any more than it already is? If there are so many tanning salons in your town that the only place left to open one is across the street...either go to another town or open a coffee shop instead.
