Whoa there Edwarda Scissor Hands. Let's get a few things straight. It's all DHA, which is a time-release deal. Seriously, the clear and the bronzing formulas are identical, except for the bronzer in the latter. The bronzing formula has the same time-release properties as the clear, except it provides an immediate and noticeable difference after the application. It's just different strokes for different folks: "Do you want to look tan now, or in 3-4 hours Mrs. Swenson?" I hope this helps. Good luck up dere. -Belvy
