For pageant girls (or any girls) who are under 18, I would definitely request a parent or guardian in the room with you. Many of the pageant girls I spray do not want lines at all - they have bathing suit competition also, and do not want any lines at all that may show with their suits. It's for your protection, mostly.
If they have booked an appointment and the parent simply dropped them off, I would insist that another employee (one that is same sex as the client) be present. But, if you have an employee available to be in the room, it may be best to simply have that employee spray them.
I personally would not leave the door open while spraying anyone. Who's to say there's not another client waiting with a good cell phone equipped with a camera?
