I tanned at a salon about 45 minutes from me, and I asked if I could tan in their wider bed. She said that first time tanners at their salon have to start off in the base beds. They don't want anyone to get burned...

For those of you with multiple levels, do you tell new clients they can't use the "big" beds on their first visit? Or, do you adjust the exposure time accordingly and let them try it?

I was a little put off by it, myself.
