i had considered the 15 min bed for a level 2 but didn't for the following reasons:
i wouldn't have a distinct difference between level 2(15min) and level 3(12min). in order to encourage people to upgrade i needed a distint difference. 15 min beds would have plenty of output which would satisfy them.
my level 2 bed is offered by minute and monthly packages. with the monthly you have customers that come in practically eveyday therefore i would be spending a great deal more for lamps because the 15 min beds i looked at had 100 watt cosmolux reflector lamps which are far more$ than say the beach suns that i presently use.and i have plenty of customers that enjoy going for 20 mins.
of course the benefit of 15 min beds would be that other than better tanning would be shorter tan times which certainly help during the busy times.
so as i stated before alot depends on your area and what your customers prefer.
