Hopefully the amount of info I provide here is helpful ... direct access into databases by employees (who also read these posts) can result in a breach of security into other salon owners systems ... so I will attempt to point you in the right direction without providing quidance that assists security breaches.

Against the Transactions table within the Transact Database you would query the "Price" field for Total Sales of the related products. If you have CalTan lotions in a separate Department that would make the Total Sales easier to select.

Be aware that records with a CTYPE of only "P" (assuming CalTan products are set up in Helios as Products (sales code type)) should be selected for sales.

You can get a count on the Tanning transactions by counting records with a CTYPE of "S" (assuming all Tanning transactions are codes in Helios as Services) and a Time_Tan greater than "0".

NOTE: Helios deliberately DOES NOT report Employee Averages based on tanning session. You can have a client purchase lotions without tanning ... you can not have a tanning session without a client ... Client Counts is considered by Helios to be a more accurate base against which to calculate the average sales per "session/client". Products that you do not wish included in the "Per Client average on Products would be coded as Miscellaneous ... those dollars will be reported as Service Dollars on the Employee Average not Products.

The field Last_MTD is the transaction date.

Hope this helps without causing harm to anyone else ... if any disagrees ... advise immediately and I will moderate this post
