You said "Anything outside of 630 to 636 can inhibit the production of collagen." and I think the literature shows that the "beneficial range" is a little wider than that.

Don,
I am making reference to Dr. Colin Whitehurst (he developed the original RED light treatment i.e., the Paterson Lamp for the Paterson Cancer Institute). His findings as the pioneer and leader in this technological field show maximum efficacy at the fore mentioned 633 with positive effects within +/-3nm. He firmly believes that anything outside of this parameter will compromise the permeability of the cellular membrane, thus effecting the ability of any device such as laser, LED or otherwise.
Not questioning you Don (you are one sharp dude). I have seen other reports showing what you are stating, however I have also seen the clinical findings and believe that Dr. Whitehurst is correct.
The Lumiere process is much more than "the light" however. Lumiere uses this light to deliverer topical ingredients known to reduce the signs of ageing in order to improve upon the already impressive results of the 633nm wavelength, much like the Dr.'s at the Paterson Cancer Institute use the light to deliver topical ingredients used to kill cancer.
Permeability of the cellular membrane is the key to this technology.
Thanks,
Tom
