Now is that 633nm ONLY EFFECTIVE at EXACTLY 633nm or is there an "effective range". If I bought a laser pointer that operates at 645nm is this the same thing?
No it is not the same.
Anything outside of 630 to 636 can inhibit the production of collagen. This is where Lumiere excels over ALL current LED phototherapy units. PTL has a ton of intellectual property and patents protecting their cooling mechanism that allows the LEDs (which produce massive heat for their size) to stay at the coveted 633 +/- 3nm
PTL also makes the Omnilux device used by Doctors around the world (same device, however, you "the Lumiere operator" can not make medical claims) Sound familiar?!
Thanks Don, 633 IS NOT IR
John, you can even see this in the chart you posted.
