I agree...definitely not a good idea. And, to be completely honest, I would think twice about tanning if it ran in my family. After all, skin cancer can be pretty ugly and leave some serious scars (not to mention that some forms can be deadly). But, if I did decide to tan, I would only do so in moderation, being extremely careful to take care of my skin and never burn. But, if you're worried about it, you could look into sunless alternatives. The
airbrush tanning and some of the spray booths give some pretty amazing results.
