I would start with at least 18 beds though...there are a lot of people on here who have been in the business a long time and have done very well and there are some who have not and stay in it for some reason.
You have to go in with your eyes wide open and a plan, if you believe that you can do a great job in your market and there is an opening for a good salon then go for it! If you do not know about marketing and advertising start reading now!
