In Un regulated states it will also dramatically reduce your insurance rates if you take additional safety measures. In un regulated states you can have coin op timers and you also do not have to use exterior timers.
If you are in an unregulated state you will find the insurance rates drop dramatically if you have someone to oversee the salon instead of the coin ops. Also if this is already in your plans to staff your location check into exterior timers and ask your insurance company about the differance.
The insurance cost is one of the few things that I have found that is keeping some sort of control of indoor tanning in un regulated states.
