That's about the exact responses that i thought i would get. I've been mentioning the idea to customers and i am getting mixed reviews not so much about the whole male/female airbrushing thing, but that they hear horror stories about the whole airbrushing thing. Some people rave about it, some people tell me not to waste my money. And i consider it a rather priced investment. The Turbo Bronzer with spray booth is gonna run me $2700. I wanna make my return + by the time the season ends. I don't wanna be stuck with a profitless airbrush system simply because the other dsalons in the area are doing shi**y jobs of airbrushing clients. But i like the idea of paying an extra $5 to your employees per airbrushing as incentive. I was thinking about a commission based pay and hiring an exclusive airbrusher and have her work strictly off of commission for the first few weeks until i could build a base clientele because i'm open long hours and i don't want to have to turn anyone down just because she's not here. I'm open til midnite, so after it's established, she can work hourly so people know her schedule, and if i get any walk-in's late nite, they'll just have to have me do it. I think i'm making up too many scenarios and confusing myself, and in turn confusing everyone else. Is anyone else dumber from reading this? I'm sorry. I had my office christmas party last night and am really tired and my mind is wandering. Reply back and let me know whay u think or anymore great ideas. I wanna be on top of things and be able to hit the ground running when all this airbrushing thing gets going.
