Here are some ideas I have used to promote
spray tanning ... I hope you find something you can use
1)Contact local newspaper fashion-trends editor, invite them for a demo.
2)Contact local drive time radio station and offer tanning services as a giveaway to the listeners.
3)Contact local women’s groups and ask to do a presentation at their monthly meeting.
4)Contact local High Schools – advertise in the school paper, offer student discounts during your slow times: Homecoming, Prom
5)Spray faces for free for a limited time to generate excitement.
6)Contact bridal shops and do a referral program
7)Obtain meeting with local Cancer support groups
Send notice and phone dermatologist offices, include plastic surgeons
9)Select a charity and offer a % of service’s to be donated for a selected period of time. (Ask for their donations list)
10)Notify Dance Schools of service and offer a package
11)Health Clubs and bodybuilders are a great source of referrals
12)Home parties are a great way to network for new clients (spray in tub for easy cleanup)
13)Research and contact local beauty pageants
14)Contact local business centers that offer employees wellness programs – offer special “membership”
15)Pass out ½ price coupons to bank tellers, retail workers or anyone that comes in contact with lots of people. They can be your best “free” advertisement.
16)Put an banner up inside and outside the salon that says
airbrush tanning.
17)Talk to photographers about putting your brochures in their lobby, lots of people here are great candidates for tanning and may be looking for just a face spray.
