| I understand now that the rays do not accelerate the condition, just that the tanner skin AROUND the areas make it more VISIBLE- hence the misconception that it "comes from" UVR. It was just mentioned to me by another salon owner that since I do tan on my stomach often and the spots first appeared only on my stomach and other patrons of that place have asked the same, and it would seem to more often appear first one the shoulders or a place closest to hair contact, that I should double clean the bed. Made since since I'd heard the same thing from another fellow patron of my place and the owners didn't really know anything about the spots. Just wondering. I've never questioned the sanitation of the beds. Anything can be picked from ANYWHERE. Just trying to be a little preventative if possible.
