You are going to be hard pressed to get started for under $500 if that is to include solution and all supplies. I am not saying it can't be done but the quality of compressor and airbrush you get may discourage you into thinking you can't do this. The system I started with was about $650. I started with SafariAirBrush and have been pleased. Also, at sunless.com there is a section for airbrush tanning. I am now looking at HVLP equipment to increase my application time and reduce overspray.
