Right, watch your Federal and State regs.. It's not such a crazy question, I have been wondering the same thing, but, after some thought I realized that ballasts will run whatever you attach to them, but not efficiently. I'd love to do the same as what you are thinking and boost a bed or two to 120 or 140 watt
lamps. Maybe we should both price some higher watt ballasts?
